Wallasey District Scouts

Wallasey has been actively Scouting since 1908 and is continuing to thrive today with young people numbers only being contained by the number of adults volunteering to help.  Scouting allows young people to take part activities from arts and crafts to water activities to visits abroad and of course camping.  Adults help in various capacities, mainly as leaders, but also behind the scenes through group committees, maintenance of buildings, gang shows and Scout Post.

Wallasey Scout District has 8 active groups operating.  All groups have three sections – Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.  Wallasey also runs one Explorer Scout Unit.  There is also a District Boathouse running a variety of water based courses throughout the year.  Contact info@scoutboathouse.org for further information.  The District also has available for use by qualified persons: bellboats, paddleboards, kayaks and open canoes.  Use is by booking and agreeing to terms and conditions.  Contact alisonmoxley@outlook.com for further information.

IF YOU WISH TO JOIN IN WITH SCOUTING IN WALLASEY AS A YOUNG PERSON, LEADER OR SUPPORTER, PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT US.  info@wallaseyscouts.org.uk
